By the time Auto-IB exploded, I had to survive maybe 10 seconds on my own. I have the artifact that gives you turbo-speed slide, and I think it helped avoid almost any hits. Ran out of fuel 5 or 6 times total (so each IB lasted around 2 to 3 minutes because of fuel), and just slid around the battlefield while IB on cooldown (I ejected each time around 25% fuel so he could beat them up for a few seconds). Moze invincible Iron Bear build (3.1 million HP on IB) - dual railguns with one sabot and one electric. Took maybe 10-15 minutes, only went down once and caught a second wind from an egg. Just beat both Hemovorous and Vermiforous solo, Mayhem 11. There's probably a couple of things I missed but, overall, absolutely phenomenal! Chaotic, keeps you on your toes, makes you feel like a God for beating it. I would recommend getting a squad together if you feel like that's the better option for you. It is definitely possible solo but not a cakewalk. I got downed a few times myself and that's whilst being prepared. This is not a fight you want to be unprepared for because you will get your shit pushed in. I played as a Level 65 Zane with Mayhem 10 weapons and these varkids went down in one shot for me. These eggs and larva will be Level 68 as well.Īs you fight him, there will also be lots of varkid larvas and pods and adults around at the same level as you so if you do go in FFYL, these are your contingency. In his later stages, he also has an attack that absolutely fucking rains loads of eggs and larva at you so try and avoid that if you can. There will also be some times where a shock beam will appear between you and him, splitting the battleground in half. Throughout the fight, Hemovourous will burrow underground and come back out nearer to you. There are three stages - two shield stages and one health bar stage. To begin the fight, you have to keep killing the Hemovorous larva as it evolves to a Badass and then a Supreme and so on until it becomes Hemovourous the Invincible.

(EDIT: you'll get given an option to pick up 500 free Eridium when you accept the quest too, whether you already have enough or not.) There'll be a few varkid larva around as well as a Hemovorous larva. So, you pay the 500 Eridium and you enter a little cave which ends with a slope down to the fight pit.
